Dr. George White

Dr. George M. White, Ph.D., is Distinguished Career Professor of Entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q). He started his career pursuing post-doctoral studies in Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University, and went on to the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center where key technologies were invented that fueled the growth of tech companies like Apple and Microsoft. Dr. White has extensive experience in entrepreneurship, creating three startups while in Silicon Valley. He joined CMU-Q in 2007 where he teaches entrepreneurship and new business creation and carries out research on innovation, collective decision-making, and emotional intelligence.
